The client wanted to get a website design that attracts the attention of the target audience i.e teenage girls and adult women. Due to a lot of other players in market, the client wanted their product to stand out due to a brand that has enhanced recognition
Information architecture is one of the most important preparatory stages of a project before developing product design. This stage allows us to determine the full scope of the work ahead and also agree with client on the correct behavior of users on the site.
We devised the following Information Architecture and UI to ensure a smooth and steady user experience.
When developing the website, we relied on the emotional appeal of quintessentially feminine characteristics; delicate yet powerful.
The design language subtly communicates the same nature of empowered women. Feminine colors like pink and purple communicate the soft look whereas the font and other design elements communication dominance, empowerment and strength.
We also designed a robust product purchase mechanism for this client. User can buy Butterfly products on the website in just three simple steps with the convenience of online payment. A review system has also been implemented so that users can leave feedback about the product.
A great user experience lies at the heart of all our designing. We created this user dashboard for Butterfly’s website users to access their order history, saved address and contact information etc making the UX smoother.
