The Client
Serving the freight industry since years, Sky Freight has been fueling the logistics chain from KSA to Philippines providing both, sea and air cargo services to customers.
The Challenge
Operating at a massive capacity, the key challenge was to transcend the system into a smarter digital process, eliminating the current bottlenecks Sky Freight was facing. A solution was required to streamline the logistic chain where every party involved at every stage was connected and the consignment provided clear visibility in terms of tracking, from the moment it was picked up, till it got dropped to the consignee.
Our Solution
To get business operations run at a faster pace, WeUno pitched in with a comprehensive digital solution catering every single party involved. We developed a website along with a mobile application where users are able to create their own user profiles, book a shipment and access a personalised dashboard with all types of information required for the transit.
Complimenting the user interface, we also developed five different mobile applications for staff which interconnected the process into a smooth running operation in the back-end.
Consolidated User Experience
Through contrasting visuals, clean design and responsive UI elements, we built a purposeful user interface. Our key focus was ensuring a well calculated UX design while we mapped out the entire journey. Iteratively, we built on several prototypes, simplifying any complicated design mishaps that could occur.

Our devoted teams gathered industry-specific knowledge to design and implement a digitally enabled infrastructure. We worked on a rich content management system and a mobile application where users can create their accounts and book a shipment from KSA to Philippines in a matter of minutes.

Breaking down the process
– Expansive usability
The digital integration for Sky Freight starts from the very beginning; their on-demand pickup. Over the entire course of their freight journey, we’ve developed five different mobile application modules to cater to every step of the transit. When the package is picked up, it is scanned using QR codes which instantly feeds the package into the system commencing product identification.
The next three modules of the application improve agility in storage, sorting and stock management process. As the package goes further into the transit process, QR codes are scanned using our in-house developed apps, each serving a specified purpose of keeping the accurate package moving towards its destination. Integrating QR codes has made tracking and visibility of the package clear during transit and optimized the overall process entirely until it reaches the customer.
The Result
Optimization to its finest, we’ve simplified freight with our highly sophisticated mobile apps, allowing a smooth execution throughout. We’ve also designed an adept retail software which they’re currently using on-site. Backed by our efficient systems, Sky Freight has been able to send thousands of shipments and they’re onto setting a record!
