Calculation methodology and assumptions

 

Emissions are reported in tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (tCO2e). Activity-based estimates use the UK

Government greenhouse gas conversion factors available in 2026. Business travel is the only material emissions

source within the required reporting categories for the reporting period.

 

Air travel: Three return journeys between London Heathrow (LHR) and Karachi (KHI) were reported for business

purposes. Great-circle distance was estimated at approximately 6,338 km each way and a 8% route-distance uplift

was applied, producing approximately 41,072 passenger-km across the six flight legs. Cabin class was not

recorded, so the 2026 long-haul to/from UK average-passenger factor with radiative forcing (0.15282 kgCO2e per

passenger-km) was used as a reasonable estimate. Estimated emissions: 6.28 tCO2e.

 

Business mileage: Approximately 4,000 business miles were travelled in a personally owned diesel Audi A6. As

the vehicle is not owned or controlled by WeUno Ltd, this is reported as Scope 3 business travel. The vehicle wasWeUno Ltd – Carbon Reduction Plan

treated as a large diesel car using a 2026 factor of 0.20905 kgCO2e per vehicle-km. Estimated emissions: 1.35

tCO2e.

 

Employee commuting: WeUno Ltd had one UK-based worker during the reporting period who worked from home.

No routine commuting to a WeUno office occurred, therefore reported commuting emissions are 0.00 tCO2e for the

required commuting boundary.

 

Transportation, distribution and operational waste: WeUno provides digital services and does not ship physical

products. It has no dedicated UK office and reported no company-managed operational waste or relevant

upstream/downstream transportation and distribution activity during the period.

 

Emissions reduction targets

WeUno Ltd will use 7.62 tCO2e as its baseline for the required reporting categories. Because the company’s

footprint is small and is dominated by business travel, reduction activity will focus primarily on avoiding

unnecessary travel and choosing lower-carbon travel options where practical.

We aim to reduce emissions from the reported baseline by at least 20% by 31 March 2031, to no more than

approximately 6.10 tCO2e, while continuing to grow the business. We remain committed to achieving Net Zero

emissions by 2050 at the latest. Progress will be reviewed annually and targets may be strengthened as improved

data and practical reduction opportunities become available.

 

Carbon reduction projects and environmental management

 

measures

The following measures are in effect or will be implemented and can be applied when performing contracts for

customers, including NHS organisations:

 

• Remote-first delivery: WeUno’s UK operating model avoids the energy consumption and employee commuting

associated with maintaining a dedicated office for its current UK operations.

• Travel avoidance: Customer and internal meetings will be conducted remotely where this can achieve the same

business outcome, reducing avoidable air and road travel.

• Lower-carbon ground travel: Rail and public transport will be preferred over car travel where practical for UK

business journeys, taking account of operational requirements, accessibility and cost.

• Flight management: International travel will be limited to journeys with a clear business need. Where practical,

multiple meetings or activities will be consolidated into a single trip to reduce flight frequency.

• Digital delivery: Documentation, project governance, collaboration and customer communications are primarily

digital, reducing printing, physical distribution and associated waste.

• Annual carbon measurement: Business travel and other relevant emissions activity will be reviewed annually

using appropriate UK Government conversion factors, allowing WeUno to track performance against the baseline

and identify additional reduction opportunities.

• Supplier and technology awareness: Where proportionate, environmental considerations will be included when

selecting material suppliers, hosting approaches and technology services for future operations and customer

delivery.

 

Progress monitoring

 

WeUno Ltd will review and update this Carbon Reduction Plan at least annually. Future reporting will compare

current emissions against the 2025/26 baseline, explain material changes in activity and report progress against

the reduction target. Where improved source data becomes available, calculation methods will be refined

transparently while retaining a clear comparison with the baseline.WeUno Ltd – Carbon Reduction Plan

 

Declaration and approval

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been prepared in accordance with the reporting structure and minimum emissions

boundary required by PPN 006 for UK operations. It reports Scope 1, Scope 2 and the required subset of Scope 3

emissions and sets out environmental management measures intended to support WeUno Ltd’s commitment to

Net Zero by 2050.
