Modern Slavery Statement

Statement under Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015

WeUno Ltd is committed to conducting its business ethically and responsibly and operates a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, servitude and human trafficking.

Our business and supply chain

WeUno is a UK-based software engineering and digital product company providing software development, AI, cloud, UX/UI and related technology services. Our supply chain primarily consists of technology, cloud infrastructure, software and professional service providers.

Given the nature of our activities, we consider our direct exposure to modern slavery risk to be relatively low. However, we recognise that risks can exist within any organisation or supply chain and remain committed to identifying and addressing them.

Policies and responsibilities

WeUno maintains policies and working practices designed to support ethical conduct, including our Modern Slavery Policy and whistleblowing arrangements. Employees are expected to report any concerns relating to unethical employment practices, exploitation or suspected modern slavery.

We expect suppliers and business partners to comply with applicable employment, labour, human rights and modern slavery legislation.

Supplier due diligence

Our approach includes:

  • assessing modern slavery and labour risks where relevant when engaging suppliers;
  • requiring suppliers to comply with applicable laws and contractual obligations;
  • reviewing higher-risk suppliers where appropriate;
  • investigating concerns or suspected non-compliance; and
  • taking appropriate action, including terminating supplier relationships where serious breaches are identified.

Training and awareness

WeUno promotes awareness of modern slavery and human trafficking among relevant employees. Training and guidance are reviewed as part of our ongoing compliance programme to help staff recognise and appropriately escalate potential concerns.

Monitoring and continuous improvement

We will continue to review our policies, supplier controls, training and risk assessment processes to ensure that our approach remains proportionate to our operations and supply chain.

WeUno is committed to continually improving its processes to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking within its business and supply chains.
